Model 5012-06XR

The Harris IRT Enterprises' New Rack Mount Limit-Sensing Resistance Tester - Model 5012-06XR - is designed for production resistance testing in an industrial environment where "rugged" & "precision" are not mutually exclusive terms. As a high resolution, digital ohmmeter, the Model 5012-06XR couples limit-sensing, laboratory precision with the durability required by industrial resistance testing applications. The instrument will drop seamlessly into any application previously using the Harris IRT 5012-05A.

By using a four-wire, Kelvin-based, resistance measurement system, the Model 5012-06XR eliminates the inaccuracies introduced by test lead and contact resistance. When a large number of similar components are to be tested, high and low resistance limits are set using front panel push button thumbwheel switches. Indicator LEDs illuminate when a component's resistance is above, below or within set test limits. An output relay is triggered to permit the automated rejection of unacceptable or improper components.
